Josh Simpson and Scott Griffiths could be on their way out of Peterborough after boss Gary Johnson admitted they are not part of his first-team plans. The duo did not travel with the rest of the squad for Posh's pre-season training camp in Portugal. Johnson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "They're around, they're under contract and will be involved in the next couple of games, but I want a smaller squad. "They might get their way back into the squad, or they might want to look elsewhere, it's up to them." Simpson, 23, was brought to London Road by last season by former boss Mark Cooper, joining initially on loan from Histon before penning a permanent deal in January. The 24-year-old Griffiths, another Cooper acquisition, arrived from Dagenham in October 2009.
