Gannon has previously been impressed with the 21-year-old and is looking for him to contribute at both ends of the field.
"Mark is a player I know well," he told the club's official website. "I have seen him play for Wolves at this level and I have seen him play for Northampton and Chesterfield.
"He is a solid right-back who can extend and get forward and I am sure once he gets some games under his belt we will see him defend well and get forward and support the attack."
