Johnson pleased with Posh shape

Peterborough manager Gary Johnson was pleased his tinkering with the shape of his side had the desired effect following a 3-1 win at bottom club Walsall. Ryan Bennett and Arron Davies put Posh 2-0 ahead and although Julian Gray headed home for Walsall, Kelvin Langmead hit the visitors' third from a Davies corner. Johnson said: "We put an extra man in midfield and I thought the boys put in a real shift. We had control of the play much better and in my opinion, 3-1 was a fair reflection. "It was a big win for us. I went over our set-pieces with the players to make sure they had it right, and we scored from two set-pieces. "I thought Walsall had two or three chances themselves and I know everything is doom and gloom for them at the moment, but they look to have some decent players and I can understand why people are saying with that group of players they should not be where they are. "I know (Walsall manager) Chris Hutchings well and it would be nice if he gets the opportunity to turn it round."
