The youngster, who has had previous trials with Tottenham and Southampton, is now looking for a taste of regular first-team action having revelled in his appearance.
"I was extremely proud to make my debut at that age and especially in the Championship, it was an amazing experience," he told the club's official website.
"I was extremely nervous and I was shaking when I went on but after the first five minutes or so I began to settle down.
"The manager has said he wants to give the younger players a chance and it is great to have a manager who wants to do that. It is up to us now to push on and do well in training and see if we can get another opportunity."
