MacAnthony wants Posh support

This campaign has seen 100 goals scored in 21 npower League One home games, yet attendances have averaged just 6,396.

With 3,650 season tickets already sold for the next campaign, MacAnthony told Bourne Local: "We just have to try and hypnotise the other couple of hundred thousand people living in and around the Peterborough area to make them wake up and realise they have a local football club who have scored more goals than most clubs in Europe, nevermind the Football League.

"I will not give up until this club has a support that starts to emulate clubs like Ipswich, Norwich and even Reading in time, which is what it and all of us fans deserve."
