MK Dons defender Gary McKenzie could make his first start for the club after impressing as a substitute in the Carling Cup defeat at Birmingham.
Striker Sam Baldock may return from a knock but midfielder Stephen Gleeson is likely to miss out.
Peterborough United boss Gary Johnson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire:
"I always appreciate the fans that come to the matches, but I can't work out why our crowds are going down when we're playing good football and getting wins.
"It would be nice for the people who come every week to be joined by a few more who want to be part of our success.
"Milton Keynes are one of the teams to beat in this league, it's a local derby and tackles will be flying in all over the place."
