Peterborough have signed forward Lee Tomlin from Rushden & Diamonds for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old has been a regular for the non league side since making his debut as a 16-year-old and could be involved against Bristol Rovers on Saturday. Gary Johnson said: "I see Lee as a player who will improve our squad. "We can find out where he is at fitness-wise but I am confident that he will be raring to go. "We have pulled off a bit of a coup to get him here." Rushden boss Justin Edinburgh said: "It's a massive loss for the football club but it's totally right, he deserves his opportunity to be a Football League player."
