Posh have signed former Nottingham Forest, Birmingham City and Ipswich Town midfielder Danny Sonner.

The 32-year-old Northern Ireland international, who was released by Forest at the end of last season, has put pen to paper on a two-year contract at London Road and goes straight into manager Barry Fry's squad for the league game at Colchester this weekend.
