Grimsby Defender Deal Still Alive

Posh have already reportedly had one offer for the 19-year-old rejected by The Mariners but the players agent, Darren Bossons, has told Sky Sports that Bennett would welcome the opportunity of holding talks over a possible move to London Road.

"Ryan would welcome the opportunity to talk to Peterborough in the event that the two clubs are able to agree something," Bossons told Sky Sports News.

"This position has been expressed to Grimsby."
