Howe Returns From Loan Spell

The 23-year-old forward had been due to remain on loan with The Imps until January but his time at Scincil Bank has been blighted by injuries and he has returned to London Road earlier than expected.

Howe made 17 starts for Lincoln during his four month loan spell and scored 5 goals but he has struggled with a hamstring injury this season and so has been sent back to Posh by new Imps boss Chris Sutton.

"I would like to thank Rene for his efforts during his time at the club and can confirm that as I have got plenty of options up front, he won't be returning when his loan comes to a close," Sutton told City's official website.
