The Posh left-back was loaned to Rangers until January 4th but manager Mark Cooper has recalled Williams back to London Road a week earlier than expected.
Williams, who made five appearances for Rangers during his loan spell at Loftus Road, is expected to go straight into the Posh squad for the FA Cup Third Round tie at Tottenham this weekend.
