Boyd told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "We just keep winning every game, I think that's six in seven now.
"The other teams must be thinking 'Peterborough have won again', and it demoralises them a bit."
Boyd scored twice in Saturday's win at London Road, but missed out on a hat-trick after missing a late penalty.
If we get a clean sheet then we're going to win games
Peterborough United winger George Boyd
"I've just got to keep scoring, I think it's 13 now and I only got 11 last time in League One," he added.
"Mackail-Smith is always going to score, Tommo [Lee Tomlin] is going to get a few more so we've got goals from everywhere in the team."
In recent games Posh have combined their free-scoring form with a solid defence, conceding just two goals in seven games.
Boyd said: "The back four and Joe [Lewis] have been brilliant in the last few games.
"It's been the way all season, if we get a clean sheet then we're going to win games with the firepower we've got."
Peterborough go to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday, where a win will take them to second if Huddersfield fail to win at Brentford.
Boyd said their match at Hillsborough was one of the highlights of Posh's ill-fated year in the Championship last season.
"It was amazing, they have 25,000 season ticket holders," he said.
"They're not on the best run but they'll be up for it."
